Al-Khidmat sends two trucks of relief goods for people of Tharparker

KARACHI (INP): The Al-Khidmat Welfare Society, an NGO of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has sent two trucks laden with ration bags, packets of dry milk powder, medicines and other edibles for the affected people of Tharparker. This was announced by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and General Secretary, Al-Khidmat Engr Abdul Aziz while addressing a press conference at Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Friday.
Speaking at the press conference, Hafiz Naeem demanded that the Sindh Chief Minister should step down from his portfolio over the negligence and death of innocent children due to famine in Tharparker.
He said that the provincial government and opposition parties should play their due role in pulling out the people of Tharparker from the prevailing crises. He further said that the Sindh government has spent billions of rupees on so-called Sindh Festival, however; leaving the innocent people of Tharparker on the mercy of Allah. Apprising the details of Al-Khidmat services, Hafiz Naeem said that the NGO of JI has dig out 600 wells and spent Rs60.5million for the improvement of infrastructure in Tharparker, adding that numbers of schools for children under the aegis of JI and Al-Khidmat are working in Tharparker.
