| Israel attack violation of int’l laws: Jhagra

| PESHAWAR: The PML (N) Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra Monday said that the Israeli attacks were clear violation of the international laws and the International community should take the matter seriously.
‘‘Every Muslim knows very well that Israel not only wants to take the total control of the Palestine but also involved in the intrigues being initiated against the Muslims all over the world,’’ Jhagra said while leading a PML (N) protest rally against Israel.
PML (N) took out a protest rally from Masjid Mohabat Khan led by the Secretary General of the party Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Rehmat Salam Khattak and Abdussubhan Khan.
A large number of the party workers and the locals attended the rally that were carrying banners and play cards inscribe with anti Israel and pro Palestinian slogans.
They also chanted slogans against the killings of the innocent Palestinians. The protesters marched from Masjid Mohabat khan to Qissa Khuwani Bazar where the leaders addressed the gathering.
Zafar Jhagra and others in their addresses termed the Israel strikes against Palestine a barbaric and inhuman action and called upon United Nations to take concrete steps for barring Israel from his hegemonies towards the innocent Muslims of the Gaza Strip..
They were of the view that the reason behind the Israel's consistent barbarianism was that its aggressions were always backed by the US.
The matter of grave concern was that the rulers of the Muslim countries being aware of the Israel's wickedness were not taking serious steps to built pressure on the Isreal Government to stop it from its evil deeds, they contended.
They demanded of the rulers of the Muslim countries to get united for pressurizing the barbarians of the time (Israel) through United Nations and other forums to bring to an end its atrocities.
PML (N) leaders also appealed to the "Muslim Umma" to join hands for making strenuous efforts to save the innocent people of Palestine and the rest of the Muslim world by the hands of the all times enemy of the Muslim community.
The Muslims all over the world should make demands from their respective Governments to demonstrate a courageous attitude towards the policies of America favoring Israel, they added.
Meanwhile the PML (N) women wing, led by MPA Shazia Aurangzeb also staged a protest demonstration in front of Peshawar Press Club to condemn the Israeli mascara.
The female workers of the party were carrying play cards inscribed with statements terming the Israel's action as brutal and inhuman.
They also chanted slogans against the atrocities on the innocent people of Philistine.
While addressing the gathering Shazia Aurangzaib strongly condemned the Israel hegemonies towards Philistine and other Muslim countries saying that Israel wanted to take the total control of the area and to make the Muslims of the area its slaves.
She flayed the US attitude in this regard and said that America always back Israel in its atrocities because both of them had common agenda aimed at destroying Muslim Umma.
She demanded of the Government of Pakistan to raise its voice for the innocent people of Philistine in the United Nations.
The members of the Frontier Publishers Association too demonstrated to condemn the Palestinians killings. The demonstration led by the President of the Association Zafar Khattak was held in Qissa Khuwani Bazar. |
