Foreign elements involved in attack on Bashir Bilour: Hoti F.P. Report
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Amir Haider Hotti while condemning the suicide attack on senior minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour has said the foreign elements were involved in the attack and those who launched attack on Sri Lanka cricket team could also be behind planning life attempt on Bashir Ahmad Bilour. “The groups who are involved in negotiations with the government had no role in the attack but some foreign elements are involved in the attack because they want to sabotage the peace agreement and destabilize Pakistan,” chief minister Amir Haider Hoti told media on at his chamber in NWFP Assembly on Thursday. Chief Minister said religion or religious elements had no connection with the yesterday’s attack on Bashir Ahmad Bilour because anti-Pakistan elements were behind the attack. “ we have got initial break through in the investigation and security agencies have identified as to who had planned the attack and what were their aims” Chief Minister informed saying that he could not release details to the media at this time as it would affect the investigation process. Replying to a question, chief minister said that the elements who had planned attack on Sri Lanka cricket team in Lahore could have involvement in the attack because they want to destabilize Pakistan through each in every mean. “ the foreign elements want to create terror among the Public and discourage the peace process however no body could deter us by such coward actions,” Haider Hotti said and added that the planners of the attack were against the peace agreements and the security agencies had identify some of them. Condoling the deaths of innocent people in yesterday incident, Chief Minister said government would fully support the bereaved families and prayed to Allah to grant gratitude to the affected families. In reply of question chief Minister Amir Haider Hotti said Qazi were being sent to Swat along with Frontier Constabulary, Police and other supportive staff and they had been starting their work in Malakand division. Re-iterating government’s commitment to fully implement the Nizam Adle Regulation in Malakand, CM said the draft had been sent to SAFRON from where it would be sent to Law Ministry. “President would sign it in a day or two and it would not be late any more President Signature is now just remain a formality,” he remarked.
