Advisor flays Arbab for his anti-PPP statement
KARACHI (APP): Advisor to Chief Minister, Ms. Sharmila Faruqui has castigated former Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim's statement which he issued against the performance of Pakistan Peoples Party in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. In a statement Monday Sharmila said a person who always played a role of henchman of dictators, has no right to criticize a democratic Government. "We have not forgotten his abusing language against Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and he has started playing his old role once again on the instructions of his bosses," she said. The Advisor said that he knows how many people dislike him even he is afraid of hatred of masses against him and it forced him to live abroad. Our President Asif Ali Zardari initiated reconciliation policy to promote harmony and peace in the country in the wake of volatile law and order situation but people like Arbab Ghulam Rahim should not take it as weak point of the government, she stated. She maintained a man liike him who followed the policies of dictators and used abusing language against popular democratic leaders bcannot be respected. Sharmila Farooqi said if Arbab is not afraid of people of Pakistan, then he should return to the country. She said PPP leaders and activists strongly flay his statement against the party. It was he and his boss who put the country on the track of devastation and anarchy and not PPP, she pointed out.
