| More than 80 die of measles in Zhob |

| ZHOB Feb 9 (PPI): Measles epidemic was swiftly affecting children in Zhob and so far 80 children have died.
This was stated by Finance Secretary CCB Network Zhob Shaikh Muhammad Ashraf Mandokhel here Tuesday.
He said despite this epidemic, Health department and administration were covering this instead of resolving this serious problem.
He said 4 year child died of measles in New Nasirabad UC Shaikhan, a child of relative of Wali Khan Kibzai died in Eidgah Mohallah. Two children died of the disease in Sherani bazaar and today a child fell victim in Mohallah Islamyar while son of Sahib Khan also died in Shaikh Town.
He said besides more than 20 children have died in Harifalabad. Some days ago, PPHI Sherani held a meeting to deceive people.
He said government should resolve this problem on priority basis and district administration and health department should be bound to take protective measures. Children are our future. If they are affected, future can badly affect. |
