Haqiqi activist gunned down in Karachi
KARACHI (PPI): An activist of MQM (Haqiqi) was gunned down at Landhi 36/B Sector 5, within the limits of Awami Colony police station. The victim was identified as 36-year-old Muhammad Farooq S/o Muhammad Ayub. The duty officer of the Awami Colony police station said the deceased was a Haqiqi activist of Landhi unit no 84. The incident took place when unidentified gunmen open fire on him when he was standing outside his home at Zamanabad, Landhi. Duty officer said that four unidentified culprits reached to scene and fled from the scene after complete their swift operation, adding 9mm pistols were used in incident. He was immediately shifted to JPMC hospital where the sources in medico legal section said that he received four bullets and succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital.
