HRS provides artificial limbs to 20 disabled
LAHORE (PPI) Hope Rehabilitation Society has distributed artificial limbs among 20 needy amputees under the Project "Limbs for All" here at Hope Rehabilitation Center Johar Town. Justice (Retd) Amer Raza Khan, Nazim Wagha Town Khalid Ghurki and Rotary Club's District Governor North Shehzad Ahmed distributed the limbs in a function. Lahore Garrison Rotary Club president Asalm Choudhry, executive members of Hope Society Humayun Khan, SEI Pervez, Dr Sohail Khan, Engr Salim Rafi and other guests were also present at the occasion. Hope Society president Dr Khalid Niazi during his address said that "Limbs for All" project was inaugurated in the holy month of Ramadan and some 50 amputees have been registered under this project. He said that on providing the artificial limbs to 20 disabled persons Hope Society has spent Rs 5 lacs and this project would continue on permanent basis with the cooperation of philanthropists. Rotary Club district Governor Shehzad Ahmed announced Rs 250000 donation for the project. Justice (Retd) Amer Raza Khan and Khalid Ghurki appreciated the Hope Society's efforts for the rehabilitation of disabled.
