54 Pakistanis feared dead in Iranian waters
F.P. Report ISLAMABAD: At least 54 Pakistani nationals, who were illegally going to Dubai via Gwadar drowned in the waters inside Iranian frontiers. According to details, the two youth, namely Yaqoob Khosa and Zahid Machi, who survived in the tragedy, told their family members from coastal area of Balochistan trough phone that some 80 people on board of three boats left Karachi for Dubai through Gwadar. When their boats reached waters inside Iranian frontiers, suddenly the boats capsized in tall waves of the sea, resultantly two boats drowned in the sea whereas one survived and managed to get out of the whirlpool, they said. They said that all the ill-fated 54 people on two boats drowned in the sea, whereas rest managed to survive. Yaqoob Khosa said that they were illegally going to Dubai via Gwadar for earning their livelihood. Majority of the people belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan, he added.
