Five killed over land dispute

VEHARI (APP): Five people were killed while ten others sustained serious injuries in armed clash at Chak 525/EB near here on Sunday. According to police, Sohail Ahmad and Abdul Haleem resident of the same chak had dispute over the possession of 12.5 acres land. On Sunday, the dispute led to armed clash between the both groups in which both sides used weapons and sharp edged weapons indiscriminately. As a result, five people from both groups identified as Muhammad Sharif, Muhammad Aslam, Abdul Ghafoor, Sakina Bibi and Sakina Perveen died while ten others sustained serious injuries.
