Police foil terror bid in Capital

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Interior A. Rehman Malik on Friday termed the recovery of explosive material by Islamabad Police as their great achievement and said that the terror bid, aimed at targetting a building in 'Red Zone' has been foiled.  He disclosed this at a function held at Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Headquarters to hand over `logistic supply' to ITP's personnel for improvement in policing activities and facilitating them in their jobs for better output and traffic discipline in the city.  The minister said Islamabad Police had recovered huge quantity of explosive material hidden in fire extinguishing cylinders and foiled a terror bid. comments powered by Disqus
