Edhi collecting funds for detained Pakistani crew

KARACHI (INP): In a bid to seek release of Pakistani crew members of MV Albedo kidnapped by Somali pirates, renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi on Tuesday set up a camp in front of Mazar-e-Quaid to collect financial donations from public.
Edhi is hopeful that he would collect enough amount for the purpose. He said that Rs16 crore required to get release the Pakistanis, while only three days remaining in the deadline given by the pirates.
The family members of the abducted Pakistani crew members are looking forward to Pakistani nation and government to save the lives of their loved ones. The people of Karachi are actively participating in the campaign.
