IBSF World U-21 Snooker C'ship

ISLAMABAD (APP): A two-member Pakistan outfit will feature in the IBSF World Under 21 Snooker Championship to be held at Wuxi, Jiangsu, China from 14-22 July. "We are running short of funds. But we are trying our level best to raise funds for the event and send our two top junior cueists," Honorary Secretary PBSA Munawwar Hussain Shaikh told APP on Wednesday. He said the Association had also requested Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for assistance but the board had regretted to accommodate. He said the Association was utilizing all available resources to give maximum exposure to cueists at the international level. He said country's promising duo of Mohammad Hunain Aamir and Mohammad Majid Ali would take part in the IBSF World Under 21 Snooker Championship. Sialkot's Mohammad Hunain Aamir, emerged triumphant in the Jubilee Insurance Pakistan Junior Under-21 Snooker Championship 2012 staged in Lahore. While Faisalabad's Mohammad Majid Ali ended runner-up in the National Junior Championship.
Both the cueists also participated in the 13th Asian Junior (U-21) Snooker Championship 2012 held in Goa, India in April, this year.
