FAISALABAD (APP): The dacoits have snatched a motorcycle at gunpoint in the area of City Jaranwala police station on Saturday.According to police, Faisal of Municipal Colony Jaranwala was going on a motorcycle when armed bandits intercepted him near Veterinary Hospital and snatched motorcycle, cash and mobile phone at gunpoint and escaped. Truck cleaner crushed to death: A truck cleaner was crushed to death by his own vehicle in the area of Sadar Faisalabad police station. According to police, cleaner Muhammad Ramzan was sleeping beneath his vehicle when driver Iftikhar mistakenly drove it. As a result Ramzan died on spot.Adulterated chili, turmeric seized: Police on Saturday seized sufficient quantity of adulerated chilli and turmeric from Thikriwala police area.Deputy District Officer (DDO) Health complained to the police that adulterated chili and turmeric was being prepared in Chak No.241-RB Chinchal Singh Wala. The police along with a health department team conducted raid the area and seized sufficient quantity of the adulterated food items. The raiding team also sent samples for laboratory analysis. The police registered a case against Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Ashraf for perparing adulterated foodstuff.Gas suspension schedule: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has issued a schedule for the suspension of the gas supply to various localities due to repair and maintenance work at Rajoa Chowk Jhang Road, Chiniot, on June 25. Gas supply to Jhang Road Chiniot and its adjacent localities would remain suspended from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
