Sindh University: Written test
Posted on 11 months ago
On June 26, a written test for the post of Grade 17 officers was held in Sindh University in which some short listed candidates appeared. Strangely, Additional Registrar of the University suddenly appeared and asked one of the candidates to sit in last row and he in front of all, delivered him some papers obviously answers of the questions being asked in the test. Some candidates objected on this but in vain. Thus, test became a cruel joke. Strangely, the result was declared in the haste on the same evening and only the said person who was favoured, was declared successful whereas all the rest candidates were given very low marks. Later, I came to know the post was sold at Rs 5 lakh to the successful candidate who was former colleague of the Additional Registrar in a private organisation for years.I request the higher authorities in Sindh government to cancel the said test and order an impartial inquiry in the matter by taking stern action against culprits and ensure justice is done to the deserving candidates by holding impartial test.
