LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Governor Punjab's statement, regarding acquiring the services of doctors of Pak Army to serve the ailing humanity, is highly regrettable. "Is Latif Khosa with the patients or with illogically striking doctors?" the Minister questioned.
Rana Sanaullah Khan said that Pak Army has served the masses in every hour of need, and now the services of doctors, belonging to Pakistan Army have been sought as young doctors, by displaying extremely obstinate behavour, refused to provide medical care to the patients.
The Minister said that it would have been better if the Governor Punjab, instead of criticizing, should have advised the striking doctors to join their duty. Rana Sanaullah Khan said that Governor Punjab is companion of those elements who have brought the country on the verge of collapse, but terrible end of Latif Khosa and his party is well neigh.
The Minister wondered that the Governor is unable to see the performance of his own political party, who has done nothing except provide gift of unemployment, loadshedding and inflation to the people.
Meanwhile, giving his reaction to the statement of Ch. Pervaiz Elahi, the Minister Law said that Pervaiz Elahi, who had indulged in loot and plunder under the umbrella of a dictator, cannot tolerate the services of military doctors sought by the Punjab government to serve the suffering humanity.
The Minister noted that the Pakistan Army has always served the nation in any emergency situation, but, the leadership of Q-League is criticizing the Punjab Government for requesting the services of doctors of Armed Forces.
Rana Sanaullah Khan said that it is height of apathy and indifference that, instead of expressing sympathy for the dying patients at hospitals, due to lack of medical care, Ch. Pervaiz is expressing his support for the striking doctors.
However, the fact remains that unprincipled person like Pervaiz Elahi has always been part and parcel of every undemocratic act of dictator Musharraf, the Minister added.
