Terrorist bid foiled in Bannu

BANNU: The police and security forces after framing its effective strategy jointly foiled a bid of terror and recovered lethal weapon from militants' possession.
The District Police Officer Waqar Ahmed said this in a statement issued from his officer on Tuesday that the hundreds of terrorists wanted to police in different heinous crimes were forcibly freed by the militants but this time the police courageously defeated them.
He lauded the police for their best efforts to combat insurgents and pull them out of the area. He claimed that any terrorists appeared in the locality would be arrested and action would be taken against them.
