Fake pir handed over to police

CHICHAWATNI (INP): A local court handed over a fake pir, allegedly involved in murder of a 15-year-old girl, to police here on Tuesday. The incident happened on July 13 when the girl was tortured to death by a fake pir on the pretext of exorcism in Chichawatni. Police said the parents of the girl thought she needed exorcism and went to the pir for help. The police said the pir tortured the girl during the process, adding that the girl fell unconscious and later died.
