Party of the poor to win general elections: Wazir

PESHAWAR (APP): Provincial Minister for Labour Sher Azam Wazir on Wednesday said general election will be held on schedule and Pakistan People Party, a party of the poor, would again come into power with people's mandate.
He said this while talking to media men. He said despite many problems to the downtrodden masses they believed in that Pakistan People Party is the only party rendered great services for the poor's.
He said 180 million people have great believed in the Pakistan People Party who always serving the masses without any political means.
"We are committed to serve the people and we feel proud on the party leadership," Sher Azam Wazir added.
He said the PPP is not a party of dishonest rather its workers always serve the people.
Meanwhile, a PPP delegation from District Bannu including office-bearers of People's Youth, PSF and People's Lawyers' Forum also called on the minister and discussed matters related to their respective areas.
The Minister while addressing the delegation said that position opposition is a key to the democratic setup.
He also criticized Mian brothers for trying to derail the present democratic setup.
He said in a democratic setup both government and opposition mutually take steps for the solution of the problems of the people.
He said the same was decided in the Charter of Democracy wherein both government and opposition would set together and should take steps for the solution of the problems of the masses.
He lauded the role of the PPP leadership for taking all stake holders on board to solve the problems of the people on priority basis instead of lingering.
"Our leadership showed great tolerance in order to keep the democratic setup going on," Sher Azam Wazir said.
He assured that each and every PPP worker would continue serving the masses. He said concrete steps have been taken to equip the youth with different skills.
He also advised the workers to reach for the next general election by expediting people-to-people contact campaign besides taking steps for the solution of the problems being confronting to the people.
