Gen Asif new defence secretary

ISLAMABAD: The federal government Friday appointed Lt Gen (Retd) Asif Yasin Malik as defence secretary. Lt Gen Asif Yasin has served as Corps Commander Peshawar, who was replaced by Lt Khalid Khalid after his retirement six months ago.
