Hypocrisy from bank to Islamic show

Posted on 10 months ago

Our country has reached a point in moral values that now we don't even feel ashamed violating laws in public. The only thing we need is a strong political backing which will save us from any disciplinary action.
Here I am referring to a person who is working in Pakistan's largest Government Bank (National Bank of Pakistan) and at the same time not one he is doing three shows on PTV.
One is a comedy juggat bazi show and ironically the other one is a religious Iftar program.
Also commendable is the approach of Bank management who are not taking notice of one of their employees conducting a juggatbazi show which is in itself a dent on Bank's image.
Here it is worth mentioning that it is very clearly written in every contractual employee's contract that they cannot take up any other assignment while working for the Bank and there is no provision of a permission in the contract what soever.
No wonder when any other employee sees such an example he/she also doesn't hesitate in violating company's rules and regulations as high ups just turn deaf ears on such breakup of rules and regulations.
