Baloch youth urged to return home

ISLAMABAD (NNI): Interior Minister Rehman Malik has asked estranged Baloch youth to return to the country and the Government would provide jobs to all of them. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday ‚ he said some youth might be involved in objectionable activities because of some compulsions and his offer is aimed at mainstreaming them. Rehman Malik said that Baloch leader Brahmdagh Bugti has a soft corner for Pakistan and the government was ready to send his choice of man for talks. He said that Baloch nation wanted to live with Pakistan and disgruntled youth should come back as government would provide them with jobs. Malik said that Brahmdah Bugti was now living as Ibraheem. "Bugti says he has political party," minister added. Malik said that cabinet's committee would visit Balochistan from Tuesday. He said that no operation would be conducted in Balochistan now. The minister said measures were being taken at all levels to curb terrorism. He said that agencies should not be blamed for the situation in Balochistan. "We also have complete details about the activities of BLA and other terrorist groups," Malik added.
