PML-N, PTI asked to shun politics of mudslinging

SUKKUR: Federal Minister for Religious and PPP leader Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah Saturday strongly criticised the blame-game and mudslinging politics of the PML-N and Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership on each other. After addressing in a Sukkur Public School, talking to the media Shah said that PML-N and PTI leaders should avoid politics of defamation by casting charges and making attempts to discredit each other. The Minister appealed to both the parties to bring their agenda before the masses to attract them rather doing blame-game politics. Talking about the Supreme Court decision on Contempt of Court Act (COCA) 2012, he said that PPP would again take the COCA 2012 to the Parliament and all flaws would be eliminated.Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of National Press Penal in Chond Ko, Khursheed Shah claimed that local bodies polls would be held this year while general elections would be held in 2013. The people of Sindh always express their deep affiliation and love with the PPP and it is the tradition that PPP also always benefited the Sindh. Commenting on the invention made by the son of Sindh Waqar Pathan, the minister said Pathan will be remembered forever as he successfully experimented and invited to drive any vehicle with “Water” instead of using petrol or anything else. He said that PPP intends to start new mega projects to eliminate poverty from the country.
