Police commander injured

SHEBERGHAN (AIP): A police commander was injured in a clash with Taliban fighters in Sar-i-Pul province early Thursday.
The clash between the Taliban and police took place in Konjak area in provincial capital Syedabad, leaving a police commander identified as Haji Jaura injured, the Sar-i-Pul police chief, Syed Jehangir told AIP.
Two Taliban fighters were also injured in the gunfight, he maintained.
Meanwhile, the Taliban told the AIP a commander was among three police personnel injured in the clash. He, however, rejected injuries to their fighters.
