ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Farzana Raja, while condemning the blasphemous film made in the United States, has said that such acts of denigration would not be tolerated.
All the nations need to understand and disseminate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to seek guidance for creating harmony and peace in the world. She said this while talking to a group of media personnel on the eve of Yom’e Ishq’e Rasool (SAW).
Farzana Raja further said that the blasphemous material will cause harm to inter-religious harmony. Such sort of malafide, unethical and shameful move is an illegitimate use of freedom of speech.
She said that Islam is a religion of love, safety, peace, tolerance and harmony as per the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Chairperson BISP while emphasizing on the need of peaceful protests said that the protest is everybody’s right but causing damages to the lives and properties of fellow Muslims will only serve Zionist agenda which should be avoided. Madame Farzana Raja said that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a blessing for the whole humankind along with the Muslims.
She urged United States to stop release of the blasphemous movie which otherwise could bring more disastrous response as no Muslim will ever tolerate such disgraceful act of profanity against the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him).
