Transporter seek justice from KP Governor

F.P.Report PESHAWAR: A transporter from Landi Kotal Khyber Agency has expressed his concern over Assistant Political Agent (APA) for proving injustice with him by giving decision in favour of his business partners. Ubaidullah put allegations on the APA during a press conference here at Press Club on Wednesday, he alleged that his business partners submitted a case in the court of APA against him who he added with connivance of his rivals, gave decision in their favour, proved that there is expectation of justice from the APA. Giving details of the whole incident, he informed that Abid Ali, Faizur-Rahman and Shabeer were his business partners of Rising Star Logistic limited (RSL), they were supplying oil to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to Afghanistan. The RSL, he added had to hire vehicles to carry oil to NATO and other things related to the business, for which he said were to give some amounts to owners of the vehicles, so his partners asked him to provide cheques to them. The cheques, he informed that had been given to the owners of the trucks etc with promise that as soon as RSL receive amount in lieu of supply oil from the concerned company, it would pay to the owners and then they would have to return the cheques. The supply of oil was going on meanwhile NATO supply was stopped by government of Pakistan due to attack on Salala check post and then the owners of hired vehicles sold the cheques of Rs86million on interest (Usury) to one named Abidullah in the same agency who deposited in a bank. He accused his partners of receiving the sum in head of oil supply from the company and embezzled. However, he said all the cheques had been dishonored and then Abidullah moved the court of APA against him, who he added summoned to him (Ubaidullah) to the court. The APA also constituted an official Jarga in this regard. ?I also gave two names to the Jirga to plead my case, which were removed by political administration (PA) and then and without calling me for hearing in the court, the APA with connivance of his partners, gave decision in favour of them?, he further accused. After the decision, he said he had moved to Commissioner FCR Peshawar Division and appealed there, but the commissioner discharged the appeal sans hearing by saying that he submitted it too late. ?I also gave proofs to the commissioner that the APA and Jirga?s decision was one sided. I also told him that I was kidnapped by Abid Ali but no consideration on my request by the commissioner?, he claimed. He, therefore, demanded of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to intervene into the matter in order to take stern action against the embezzlers and give protection his family as his Abid Ali threatened him for death.
