Naeem Ullah LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday has directed the federal government to submit details of expenditures incurred on recent trip to New York (United States) by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his family and others on taxpayers? money. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah passed this order while hearing the petition seeking courts direction to impose restriction over huge expanses being done over PM, his family and other members visit to aboard on state expenditure. Barrister Javed Iqbal Jafree has filed the petition. The petitioner submitted that the PM and his family members stay at luxurious hotels and other privileges abroad were extravagant and burden on the national exchequer. The petitioner pleaded the court to put the name of Nawaz Sharif and his family names on Exit Control List. He further prayed that the mental examination of Prime Minister Nawaz should also be conducted as he many times took a bad image to the country by presenting local food items with him to other countries? heads. After initial arguments by the petitioner, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of LHC directed the federal government to submit details regarding the expenses on recent visit of PM Nawaz Sharif, his family and other his servants abroad. The proceedings adjourned till November 06.
