Report LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government is making serious efforts for resolving the problems being faced by the country and steering it out of crises. He said that the promise of bringing the country out of darkness will be fulfilled under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that delay in the execution of power projects due to sit-ins will be made up with hard work and determination. He was talking to Assembly Members of PML-N who met him here today. They included Members National Assembly Javed Shah, Azhar Qayyum Nahra, Provincial Minister for Housing Tanvir Aslam Malik, Minister for Jails Abdul Waheed Chaudhary, Members Provincial Assembly Javed Akhtar, Sardar Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Mian Tahir, Muhammad Yaqub Nadeem Sethi, Pir Kashif Ali Chishti and former MNA Mudassar Qayyum Nahra. Talking to the parliamentarians, the Chief Minister said that the journey of progress and development of the country started by PML-N on coming into power will be completed. He said that public service and raising the living standard of the masses is the agenda of PML-N. He said that untimely sit-ins and protest politics have given a setback to national economy and there is a need to display a spirit of courage and commitment to put the country on the road to progress and development. He stressed upon Assembly Members to utilize all their energies for resolving peoplesí problems. Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Housing Tanvir Aslam Malik presented a cheque for Rs.11,20,000 to the Chif Minister for flood affectees and IDPs. Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the spirit of help and assistance to the distressed people. He said that Punjab government is extending all out assistance to the flood affectees and IDPs and every penny of donations is being spent on the assistance of the needy people. He said that those helping distressed brethren and sisters will be rewarded in this world and the world hereafter.
