Waseela-e-Rozgar BISP vocational training certificate distribution ceremony

KARACHI (NNI): Waseela-e-Rozgar Vocational & Technical Training Certificate ceremony held at Arena Karachi today, Where successful beneficiaries who have completed their trainings in different trades (Electrician, Boutique, Plumber, Computer operator etc) in all over the sindh region under Benazir Income Support Programme.
Mr Sadiq Memon, Minister STEVTA is the chief guest of the ceremony, Mr Zafarullah Khan Soomro, DG BISP Sindh and other officials/officers of BISP, Ektaraa International Organization and principals, teachers of Vocational Training Institutes of all over the Sindh.
Mr Sadiq Memon, Minister STEVTA said that It would help in the socio-economic uplift of the people of this country and as the skills pool will increase and the industry would have more skilled people it would improve the industry and business all across and would create more jobs.
Mr Zafarullah Soomro said that the initiative aims to empower female beneficiary or her nominee through acquiring a skill; become economically independent by acquiring vocational training through dynamic and integrated technical education and vocational training service. The vocational training sector encompasses both a recognized training format that leads to the development of a certificate-based skill, and a non-recognized training such as in-house or product-based training under the BISP framework. Subsequently, he said that it will lead towards capacity building and professional development.
He said that under Waseela-e-Rozgar ten thousand youth will be provided technical and vocational training by the end of this year so that they can stand on their feet with honour and dignity.
Mr Basir Zaidi CEO, Ektaraa said that Vocational training with six thousands rupees per month for the youth of Pakistan is "Waseela-e-Haq Rozgar Scheme"; a subsidiary project of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is all about and it's a great step for the people of Pakistan. He said that in one year we have 4500 graduates qualify through trade testing board and they are running their own work on their feet In the last 20 certificates were distributed amongst the successful beneficiaries of waseela-e-rozgar scheme.
