2500 treated in FC medical Camp in Zhob

ZHOB: Frontier Corps Balochistan held a day-long free medical camp on the border of Zhob district and treated hundreds of patients suffering from various diseases.
A medical team, comprising of specialist male and female doctors with paramedic staff examined more than two thousand, five hundred patients, including women, children and aged people, in addition to giving them free medicines.
Inspector General FC Major General Ubaidullah Khattak visited the medical camp and inspected the health facilities. Commandant Talat Masood and Major Nisar accompanied the FC chief.
Dr. Zain ud Din, Dr. Arshad and a lady doctor examined the poor and deserving patients and free medicines were provided besides performing their diagnostic tests.
IG FC Ubaiuullah Khattak said that Qamar Din Karez was a backward area close to Pak-Afghan border, with neither agriculture nor any other facilities which is why the camp was set up to help the needy people of the area.
He informed that FC held free medical camps in various parts of the province periodically, where thousands of patients were provided medicines free of cost. FC doctors were extending their expertise in free medical camps set up for the poor and needy patients in rural areas, he maintained. FC chief announced Rs0.1 million for a patient and the construction of a primary school for the children of the area.
